I’ll Tell You How The Sun Rose
This piece was commissioned by a friend Patsy Lewis for her grandchildren. The first words are from a poem by Emily Dickinson – ‘I’ll tell you how the sun rose – A ribbon at a time.’ It offers guidance and reassuring words to support us in life. ‘Each new day share everything, play fair and don’t hit people’. The final lines come from Alice Hoffman’s book Here on Earth. They offer us wise and gentle advice and teach all of us how to choose what matters most. It is message of hope for the next day and each new day is a new start. Other words are from Bear Grylls.
